Lilac Tanzania is a small Tanzanian owned business in Karatu just outside Ngorongoro. We operate four different locations around Karatu. Our original Lilac restaurant is located at FAME Medical, a non-profit hospital serving the local community (learn more about FAME here). Our centrally located Lilac Café has comfortable seating, internet, great coffee and fresh food like salads and sandwiches. Lilac Café is on the main road in Karatu near Exim Bank.

Lilac Oasis is the newest property in our portfolio. Located just outside Karatu town along the main road between Karatu and Manyara, Lilac Oasis provides a modern atmosphere for BBQ and Drinks.

Lilac @ FAME serves a variety of Tanzanian and Western dishes. We provide all inpatient meals at the FAME hospital and are open to waiting patients, relatives and the general public.
